The Alliances for China’s Peaceful Reunification, USA (ACPR) is an officially
registered non-profit organization in the United States of America. Its members
consist of the organizations of Chinese-Americans in major metropolitan areas
nationwide in the U.S.
The ACPR firmly upholds the "One China Principle", which has been recognized
by the United Nations and the majority of countries worldwide, including
the U.S. The ACPR actively supports political dialogues between mainland
China and Taiwan Island on the basis that both sides commit to the principle
that, both Mainland and Taiwan Island belong to One Country, CHINA", and
that both eventually reach a peaceful reunification of the entire China.
The peaceful reunification of China is greatly beneficial to the Asia-Pacific and
world peace and also to the U.S. National Interest. We thus encourage
the bilateral dialogues and exchanges between both sides across the Taiwan
Strait in the fields of economy, culture, agriculture, strait safety, and
other non-political issues. We strongly oppose the separation of the China’s
territory, which is a threat to the interest of China and to the peace
in Asia-Pacific and the world.
The most important objective of the ACPR is to promote the friendly relations
between the United States and China. Both the US and China are the greatest
countries, and both play very important roles in the world affairs. The
strategically long-term cooperation and mutual supports between the U.S.
and China in different areas of the world affairs have been proved to be
beneficial to both countries and to the world peace and development as well.
The ACPR consistently promotes the exchanges between the U.S. and China
in social, cultural, economic, scientific, technological, educational, and
other related areas to enhance the friendship and understandings of the
peoples between these two great counties.
